As Pretty As The Picture.
If someone is looking for an eco-friendly way to make coffee I thought that ground is less processed than instant and stovetop better than an electric percolator. I came across the decorated Turkish Pot when searching for an item to meet these criteria. It is pretty and stands up to heat so far. It is hard, however, to ignore the flimsy feel. This pot is thin and light with a handle that rocks slightly without unscrewing, This seems like poor workmanship so I haven't forcefully tried to unscrew it yet. Further to this there is no assurance that the tin metal on the inside is free from other metal impurities. I like how it looks not the feel and I do not recommend it to anyone because of the impurity question. I expected a little more for the price.
UPDATE:
Many cups of coffee later I remain impressed with how fast the pot heats, how the coffee grinds fertilize the potted plants and most of all how the pot stands up to heat without losing its beauty. Whoever did the pretty...
