A Carafe like most others
I purchased this for my Delonghi coffee maker DCF212T DeLonghi DCF212T Drip Coffeemaker with Convenient Front Access. It's like most other carafes, although the quality does feel better. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the lid does not come off completely for cleaning. I thought it was a faulty design of my original carafe, and was disappointed to see that the replacement had the same design. I could probably force it off, but with my luck, I'd break off the tabs and have to buy another. Unfortunately, because of the no-drip design of my coffee maker, I'm stuck with this one until it dies.

Perfect replacement
If you broke your original carafe, this will fix things right up for you. Delivery was quick (only a few days of French pressing to get through).

And the DeLonghi coffee maker this goes with is AWESOME. If you have the time, put it on the "Aroma" setting. Best coffee maker I've ever had--and you can pour the water in from the front rather than the top. I don't understand why more aren't designed like that.
Delonghi sx1031 Carafe
This is the only carafe that fits my coffee maker, unfortunatly it is almost as expensive as buying a NEW coffee maker WITH the carafe, this carafe is very eaily broken the glass is not as think as others i have owned, it would be nice if someone would offer a carafe that was cheaper then this one that would fit in my coffee maker.

exactly what I wanted
Not much to say here. I broke the carafe on my Braun 10-cup coffee maker.Did a search to try and find the exact same thing and that's what this is. An exact duplicate of what I broke at a decent price.

So far, so good
I ordered this from the Culinary Parts vendor here on Amazon. The item is actually OEM, not a knock-off, made in the Czech Republic just like the coffee maker. It is an identical fit to our Type 3105 Braun coffee maker, something I was slightly concerned about as I do like the 'sneak-a-cup' feature and wanted that mechanism to work. About the only thing that is 'wrong' with it is the grey handle (on the white-capped model) is quite a bit darker than the original, so it doesn't quite match the rest of the coffee maker. It's more of an ash-color, but that's relatively minor.

Some reviews noted the replacement carafes break easily. We've hit ours against the sink a couple of times when washing, not hard but not lightly either...so far, so good. For $25 or so, I can well understand why someone wouldn't be happy if it shattered easily, but ours has passed the first few bangs.

In other circumstances, a broken carafe is a good excuse to buy a new coffee maker, and...

Great to find this product still available, as Braun (aka Gillette, aka Proctor & Gamble) no longer manufactures coffee makers. Identical to the original it replaced...highly recommended.

This is an OEM replacement for one that we broke. The top has a unique shape so you have to have this unit for it to work correctly.

Pain to clean!
The lid doesn't come off -- in fact, it only flips up to a ninety degree angle making it impossible to run through the dishwasher and impossible to dry upside down after hand washing.(We usually let dishes etc. drip dry rather than towel dry them.) Also, while washing it, one hand has to hold the lid up while the other cleans. Very poor design, IMO, and I dread washing it every day.
